All lanes now reopened however queues stay

All lanes on the M1 have now been reopened following the incidents on the M1 forward of, and past, junction 8 – however queues stay.

Inrix says: „Queueing visitors resulting from earlier accident on M1 Northbound at J8 A414 (Hemel Hempstead). All lanes have been re-opened. Site visitors was held in all lanes to permit the Highways transfer the autos from lane 4. Congestion construct up past J8 resulting from separate earlier accident which has since cleared.“

It provides: „Queueing visitors resulting from earlier accident on M1 Northbound from J8 A414 (Hemel Hempstead) to J9 A5183 (Redbourn). Journey time is round 45 minutes. All lanes have been re-opened. Lanes three and 4 (of 4) had been closed till round 17:05.“
