Lufthansa adds Dreamliner on North America routes

Lufthansa will function its Boeing 787-9 ‚Dreamliner‘ plane on extra routes to the US and Canada as a part of the upcoming summer time 2023 season, the service introduced.

From 13 February the service will function the wide-body plane on routes from Frankfurt to Detroit, Michigan, and from 26 March additionally on routes to Dallas-Fort Value (six instances weekly) and Montreal (4 instances weekly). From 1 Might, flights to Montreal can be each day.

Additionally in early Might, Lufthansa will fly its Dreamliner each day to Denver, Colorado and 3 times weekly to Austin, Texas.

The German service presently operates three Boeing 787-9s, with two further plane to be delivered ‘shortly’. The service plans to incorporate 32 new Boeing 787-9s in its fleet by 2027. 

With a purpose to halve its 2019 web carbon emissions by 2030, Lufthansa took delivery of its first Dreamliner in August 2022, and the fuel-efficient plane has been servicing transatlantic routes, together with the service’s each day service to Newark, since October 2022.
