Automotive driver, 41, dies in crash on A69 in Northumberland as police enchantment for witnesses

A 41-year-old automobile driver has died in a crash on the A69.

Northumbria Police have been contacted by officers from Cumbria Constabulary at 8.45am on Wednesday morning who have been responding to a severe collision involving a HGV and automobile on the A69 at Greenhead, Northumberland.

Officers from Northumbria Police’s Motor Patrols division attended the scene alongside emergency companies, together with the North West Ambulance Service, Air Ambulance and Northumberland Hearth and Rescue Service.

Police have now confirmed that the 41-year-old driver of the automobile died on the scene. His household is being supported by specialist officers.

Officers are actually interesting for witnesses to come back ahead.

Inspector Dean Hood from the Drive’s Motor patrols division stated: “This was a severe collision which has sadly killed a person and our ideas are together with his household at this extremely tough time.
