Miles of queuing site visitors is backing up motorists in Lancashire travelling on the M6.
Queuing site visitors is resulting in important delays between Preston and the Lake District, with the state of affairs worst between junctions 32 and 33.
Site visitors web site Inrix says: „Sluggish site visitors on M6 in each instructions between J33 A6 Preston Lancaster Highway (Lancaster South / Garstang) and J32 M55 ( Broughton Interchange).

There isn’t a reported incident that’s inflicting the delays.
Slightly, it seems to be common weekend site visitors between Lancashire and the Lakes that’s inflicting issues.
On the northbound carriageway, one lane is out of motion resulting from roadworks, with site visitors filtering in to the remaining two open lanes.
The AA is reporting „extreme delays“ with an ‚common pace of 15 mph‘.
