Road traffic incident sees police close Meon Valley road

Officers closed the Botley Highway B3035 from Bishop’s Waltham on Sunday at 7pm.

Drivers have been warned to take an alternate route.

A Tweet from Winchester Police mentioned: ‘**ROAD CLOSURE*** Botley Highway B3035 because of Highway Visitors Accident. Please take an alternate street #BishopsWaltham.’

The street was reopened by 10pm.
